What is a BBB rating?

Vacationers that rent our Miami Beach accommodations often ask, “What is a BBB rating?” A BBB rating represents the Better Business Bureau’s opinion of the business and is is based on information they have gathered from consumers about the business.

The Better Business Bureau uses letter grades from A+ (highest) to F (lowest) to rate businesses. It the BBB does not have enough information on a particular business they may assign a NR, or "No Rating” grade for the business until they have sufficient information to give it a letter grade.

BBB grades are based on information in BBB files with respect to the following factors:

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU’S GRADING ELEMENTS

Business' complaint history with BBB.
Type of business.
Time in business.
Background information on business in BBB files.
Failure to honor commitments to BBB.
Licensing and government actions known to BBB.
Advertising issues known to BBB.
