†You can’t go wrong hitting one of the great fairs in Miami. There are fairs for many different interests, cultural celebrations, and lifestyles. Many of these fairs in Miami are close to our popular Miami Beach accommodations. That makes it easy to take a stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds of the fairs in Miami, rather than have to worry about parking or public transport.
There are more fairs and festivals than we could possibly list, but here is a sampling of our favorite fairs in Miami. We think you will find that there is something for everyone. International Map Fair
One of the more unique (and fun) fairs that you will find takes place at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida every February, the International Map Fair. Dade Heritage Days Fair
Miami-Dade County is not just a hip and exciting place to live or visit, there is some reay history to this part of the country. The Dade Heritage Days call attention to that, with all the gusto one can expect from Miami. Fun, education, and lots of great events await you here. Winter Party Fair
The first week of March is highlighted by this five day fair on South Beach (at multiple venues) that supports the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force. The Fair includes parties, musical performances, vendors, art exhibits, wine tastings, excellent dining, and more. The fair usually ends in style with the famous Beach Party from Noon til sunset on Sunday. (305) 571-1924
Mid-March in this town means one thing, Calle Ocho! This is Little Havana's world-famous festival of food, music, and Latin culture, and fun! If nothing else, you have to see it just for its sheer size (over 23 city blocks!) You can find more information by calling (305) 644-8888.
Miami Dade County Fair and Exposition
This is not your typical county fair, it is done Miami style! Don’t fret, though. You will still find carnival rides, games, food, a circus, and exhibits all within the Fair Expo Center. (305) 223-7060
The Fair-Expo Center hosts the Cuban cultural fair. It features art exhibits, traditional Cuban food, music, vendors, and celebrations of Cuba and its culture. This May fair is a fun one for the whole family! (305) 856-7595
Orchids in the Park
Dante Fascell Park is where you will find this unique (and beautiful) fair. There are exhibits, events, and of course orchid sales that benefit the Pediatric AIDS program at the University of Miami. So, come see (and buy) some beautiful plants for a great cause. (305) 667-2992
Tropical Ag Fiesta
The Tropical Ag Fiesta is held at the Homestead / Redland agricultural area. This fair has been going for ages and continues to grow! There are food and wine events, children’s events, hayrides, farm activities, and more. This is a great, family-friendly fair! (305) 247-5727
A fun and unique fair, Lizard Day, is definitely not your normal walk in the park. This one day event is held at the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium. It celebrates (no surprise) lizards! International Wine Fair
The numbers are astounding about this world-renown fair held annually at the Miami Beach Convention Center. There are over 1,500 wines at this fair. Jewish Book Fair
